Investment Criteria

Tamyse Capital is an impact investor that focuses exclusively on companies directly engaged in environmental cleanup or protection. Ideal investment candidates will need capital for additional development or be at an inflection point where the combination of cash, expertise, and additional resources can serve as a catalyst to accelerate growth, profitability, and as a consequence, more cleaning of the world’s waterways.

Although we focus on operating companies, we will also invest in development stage businesses where there is a clear path to market. Tamyse Capital will also consider turnaround situations where the technology or service offered has proved to be effective in environmental cleanup.

We prefer majority or control positions, but will consider influential minority investments when sufficient corporate governance and shareholder protections are in place. Tamyse Capital does not provide capital to volunteer cleanup efforts, awareness campaigns, or any form of lobbying, however meritorious those endeavors may be.
